Our heritage from the primate family is that
of natural selection. The female evaluates
the attributes of the male based on his
markings, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY
HOW MUCH TIME HE SPENDS GROOMING
HER. I don't know why this is such a
revelation to me. Of course, this courtship
is borne out of his attention to detail.
